Olfactory Pyramid:
What are the notes in House of Bō Casa Blanca? White tea, mineral notes and labdanum at the top, fig, white suede and copal in the heart, and tobacco, bourbon vanilla and oud in the base.
What does House of Bō Casa Blanca smell like? Soft, pale and smoky. Creamy minerals, white tea and labdanum open it, desert fig, copal blanco and white suede form the heart, and tobacco, white oud and bourbon vanilla give it a smoky warmth. Founder Bernardo Möller describes it as creamy minerals and white elements textured with smoky fig.
Is it a fig fragrance? Fig is at the center, but it is not green and fruity. The minerals, suede and white oud make it creamy and a little smoky, closer to a calm, meditative skin scent.
Should I buy it blind? Mineral and smoky scents are subtle and personal. The 1.5mL sample is a good way to try it before the 40mL.
Where can I buy it? Here, or in person at our counter in West Hartford, Connecticut. If you have not tried it, start with the 1.5mL sample before a full bottle of the perfume.
