Blue Wood opens with a relaxing coolness — camphorous lavender lifted by bergamot, pink grapefruit, and bitter orange, with a slight spiciness from black pepper and the resinous edge of cypress. The heart turns floral and softly powdery, geranium and violet cooling the composition while lilac and jasmine round it out. The base is woody and gently sweet: guaiac wood, patchouli, and sandalwood, finished with a hint of vanilla.
