The scent of silence.
What does Spiritica Rosanostra smell like? A dark, smoky rose. Bitter orange and a note the house calls blood open it, Taif, damask and centifolia roses meet burnt paper in the heart, and frankincense and damp earth give it a quiet, ceremonial base. Created by Miguel Matos and Daniele Muratori Caputo.
Is it a pretty rose? No, and that is the point. The burnt paper, incense and earth make it moody and contemplative rather than romantic.
Should I sample it first? Yes. Smoky, earthy roses are an acquired taste, and the 1.5mL sample is the easy way to try it first.
