Perfumer: Rodrigo Flores-Roux
What does House of Bō La Mar smell like? A milky, sun-warmed floral with a marine edge. Sea water, gardenia and pink pepper open it, tuberose, jasmine sambac and ginger form a lush white-floral heart, and coconut, almond milk and olibanum make the drydown creamy and soft. A floral aquatic by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, launched in 2021.
Is it a beach fragrance? It has the seaside feeling, but the white florals and almond milk make it far creamier and more sensual than a typical fresh aquatic. It reads as summer skin rather than ocean spray.
Should I try it before buying? Tuberose and coconut are both notes people feel strongly about. The 1.5mL sample is the easy way to try it first.
